stuck in picton

yo, yo,

went whale watching yesterday. saw a couple of giant sperm whales and caught some whale tail action on camera as well. most exciting, but not quite as exciting as i thought it would be. he was certainly no moby dick!

not a lot more to report really. went to Nelson. very pretty. met a welsh dude called andrew, and we went for a pint. he wasnt' the most charismatic of people, but a nice enough chap. he quit his job as a journalist and is now 'finding himself'.

i love listening to people's stories and the reason they've come out travelling, just cos i'm nosy really.

i'm stuck in the port town of picton. there's bugger all to do here and i've got to kill a couple of hours before i can get on the ferry up north, and it's bloody freezing. the truoble is now that i have the time, i'm really not in the mood to write anything overly exciting.
